The villa is on the north end of the island just across the street from Ocean Point golf course and next-door to Ocean Point pool.

My wife and I have been visiting Fripp Island for 16 years. We appreciate the great family ambiance. We appreciate tennis, golf and water sports and Fripp has it all.  It is spectacular how calming it is riding around the island in our golf cart. Our kids have always appreciated the island from under 10 to now as adults. If you visit, you will adore it too

We already had an home on Fripp Island and really appreciate it.  We thought a rental close to our own vacation home would be a great investment.  Our friends always want to come back and visit us.

Tips to get the best vacation home experience:

How to get the best value:

  • In the Beaufort, SC area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Beaufort, SC area. To get the best rental home within budget, we recommend booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities.
  • Some property managers offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers often offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, SC visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guide magazines contain money saving offers on local accommodations, tours and attractions.

Selecting the perfect rental home:

  • Start by choosing vacation dates and a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. Completely Remodeled - 609 Newhaven Court has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Beaufort, SC rentals search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is regularly available online. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property manager before you reserve the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to determine what is best for your vacation family.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or could be applied to your contract.
  • If there's a particular Beaufort, SC attraction you are crazy about, search for homes that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

During your stay:

  • Add the property manager's contact info to your smartphone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're gone! Don't let crooks spoil your trip.
  • During check-in, make note of any issues with the property and immediately contact the property manager. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to confirm you did not forget anything. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a wonderful vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
