Castaway Cottage is a handsomely refreshed beach home with a separate apartment, appealingly located across the street from the beach and backing up to a spectacular canal—ideal for fishing right in your own backyard. Set on a enormous, shaded tropical lot, this home invites you to relax, relax, and settle into island life.
Appreciate ocean breezes and the sound of waves from the roomy screened porch, or open the sliders for an airy indoor-outdoor living experience. The backyard canal offers some of the best fishing on Fripp Island, along with simple access for kayaking or boating from the private dock.
The main home (upstairs) features an open floor plan with a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and comfortable living room that opens directly to the screened porch. Two king master suites include sliding glass doors to the porch, and an additional bedroom with two full beds brings the upstairs sleeping capacity to eight.
The separate ground-level apartment offers privacy and flexibility, with an open living and dining area surrounded by windows, a kitchenette, a full bathroom, and a bedroom with two twin beds—ideal for extended family or guests who appreciate their own space.
Beach access #23 is directly across the street and features a ramped boardwalk—no stairs—making beach days painless and accessible.

FAMILY PETS MUST BE PREAPPROVED (DOGS ONLY).  You will be asked to sign a pet agreement and pay a non returnable $150 pet fee for the first pet and $75 for a 2nd pet. An additional $300 will be charged for guests that show up with a dog without approval.

A few notes about the island - We are club members which means that the Club amenities cards are available for purchase.  The Fripp Island Club requires luxury cards for you to frequent their conveniences. These amenities include golfing, playing tennis, going to the eateries on Fripp, going to the swimming pools and the exercise room. 

 
Club cards are required to enjoy any of the Fripp Island Resort amenities and they are available for purchase with this property. If you opt to purchase cards, a 12.8% resort fee based on the rental amount before taxes, cleaning and other costs will be charged in addition to the cost of the individual Club cards.
 

Each guest 13 years or older must carry an conveniences card to access the Club's facilities.  There are a few places on Fripp Island that you do not need an luxury card. SpringTide Market is at the front of the island that has a sizable menu at their deli. From breakfast sandwiches to family BBQ meals, there is a lot to choose from. There is also a deli at the Marina that serves sandwiches and salads. The Fripp Ship and Mango stores are fun to go into for your ideal souvenir.

If this property offers club cards for access to Fripp Island Resort amenities, a new 12.8% of the total rent resort fee will be charged in addition to the cost of the individual club cards. After booking this property, Vacation Rental By Owner will charge their service fee separately and then the reservation will be transferred to FrippIslandStay where the property owner or manager will charge your credit card for the other items seen in the quote included by Vacation Rental By Owner. The returnable security deposit if applicable will be supplied in the final payment. You will also have the opportunity to purchase travel insurance and damage protection insurance on FrippIslandStay.

You will receive an e-mail with log in information from FrippIslandStay right after booking. Please check your spam or promotions folders. Once logged in to FrippIslandStay, you will be able to order club cards if available and gate passes for access to the island.
