Tips to get the perfect Fripp Island vacation rental experience:

Getting the best rental value:

  • In the Beaufort, SC area, The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your rental home up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Summer time is high season in the Beaufort, SC area. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring months is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers typically offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, SC area travel guide magazines which will include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Finding the perfect vacation home in Fripp Island:

  • Select a group leader, choose your vacation week, and select a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. 368 Wahoo Drive - New to VRBO! Resort Access Included! has 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Beaufort, SC rentals search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, email the property manager before you reserve the property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you will need a pet-friendly property. Get specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Usually, property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental

More considerations for your visit:

  • Add the owner's contact information to your phone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, elevator or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents lots of concerns.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
  • Note any damages to the rental upon arrival, and immediately contact the property manager. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be beneficial if there is a dispute.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a great source for finding the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Just prior to departing, complete a final walk-through to confirm you have not leave anything behind. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a fantastic vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
