Strategies for getting the best Beaufort, SC vacation home experience:
Find your best deal:
- Booking your Beaufort, SC vacation rental in Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- The earlier you can book, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked early. Booking your vacation property six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
- Some hosts offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
- Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Look for your local Beaufort, SC visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, visitors guides have discounts for nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.
How to pick the perfect rental home in the Beaufort, SC area:
- Select your vacation dates and spending budget.
- Determine how many beds and the configuration your family needs. The Byrd Nest Fripp - NEW OPEN FLOOR PLAN SHORT WALK TO BEACH. GOLF CART, ELEVATOR, ACCESS TO CARDS, Center Island has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is normally accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, call the property management company before you reserve the rental. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to work out what is right for your vacation.
- Is your group looking for unique amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or may be applied to your contract.
Advice for a smooth stay:
- Add the owner's phone number to your phone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- To make sure no damages are linked to your visit, make note of any problem areas when you arrive. Contact the rental manager right away to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be useful.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent many difficulties.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules is the right thing to do.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Lock your rental while you are out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
- Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did you have a excellent stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
