Comments from our previous guests:
5/5 Will stay again!
We stayed here in April with our kids and appreciated the home. The screened porched was a great place to sit and watch the local wildlife sneaking around. For our family, this home was ideal. It felt like home and that I was not staying in a home that we could not mess up with our three kids into everything! A nice walk or golf cart ride to the beach. It is a place we will stay again.

5/5 Will definitely return!

5/5 Wow, spectacular...
I spent my childhood summers on Fripp many years ago and shared the island with our our kids as they grew up. To now share it with our grandchildren is an striking feeling. This home offered everything we needed for three generations of our family. Michelle was available every step of the way and ensured our time at her property was nothing short of spectacular. A trip we will never forget!

5/5 Special Treasure
We LOVED our time on Fripp and at this home. We had stayed at other properties in the past and never knew of this modest tucked away area that offers close proximity to the Beach Club and courses and most importantly the beach! Owners were great to work with, we will definitely be back.

5/5 Nice House, awe-inspiring location
Will return next chance we get. Kitchen was well equipped, linens were great and decor was handsome

Strategies to get the best vacation property experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in coastal SC. Booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is a great way to save on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Owners sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property managers frequently offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, SC area magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guides have discounts for nearby accommodations and attractions.

Planning, selecting, and booking the perfectrental home:

  • To start, have your group select the best dates and a spending budget.
  • Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. \nEXCEPTIONAL CENTER ISLAND LOCALE ON SEA DRAGON LANE~AMENITY CARDS AVAILABLE has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed types is commonly available on booking pages. If not, email or call the property management company before booking the home. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to determine what configuration is optimal for your vacation family.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, filter your search for a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Be aware that some property owners charge additional pet fees.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction? Use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking

Considerations for your stay:

  • Add the owner's phone number to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • At Check-in, document any damages to the property and immediately contact the host. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a excellent time? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your property and/or host was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was defective and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
