Strategies to get the best Fripp Island rental experience:

Get the best rental value:

  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is high season in Fripp Island. Book your Beaufort, SC vacation in the Fall or Spring to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Beaufort, SC area visitor guides which often include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Filter your rental search:

  • Select a group lead, select your trip dates, and choose a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. GOLF CART AVAILABLE Ocean AND Pool Views from the Porch has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible on booking pages. If not, reach out to the host before you book the home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, you must reserve a property that allows animals. Ask for specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some hosts charge additional pet fees.
  • If there's an individual Beaufort, SC destination you are crazy about, look for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. .

Some things to know before you go:

  • Add the property manager's contact information to your phone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of difficulties.
  • Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let thieves spoil your family vacation.
  • During check-in, record any issues with the property and immediately contact the host. Record all coorespondence.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors disrupting your life at home. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a excellent time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
