Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
- Booking websites frequently offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
- Look for your local Beaufort, SC visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
