Getting the best Beaufort, SC rental home experience:

Sticking to your spending plan:

  • Summertime is high season in Fripp Island. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your rental home up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Some hosts offer promotional rates for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
  • Property managers typically offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Many rental management companies supply Beaufort, SC area travel guides which will include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • Choose a group leader, select your vacation week, and choose a max budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your group needs. JOHN FRIPP VILLA - Ocean Views - Three Bedrooms Sleeps 8 has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is usually accessible on booking websites. If not, email the property owner before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to determine what configuration is suitable for your vacation family.
  • If there's an individual Beaufort, SC attraction you are enamored with, look for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you will need a rental that allows animals. Ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some property owners charge additional pet fees.

More tips for your stay:

  • We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • To ensure that damages aren't attributed to your stay, make note of any problem areas during check in. Get in touch with the host immediately to document any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be an excellent resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Keep the property locked while you are gone! Don't let thieves spoil your vacation.
  • Upon check-out, complete a walk-through to make sure you did not leave anything behind. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a excellent vacation? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
