Tips to get the very best rental experience:
Getting the best rental home value:
- Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. Reserve your Beaufort, SC rental in the Fall or Spring to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Property managers often offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Find a copy of your local Beaufort, SC visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guides have deals for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
Planning and picking your prefectvacation home:
- Start by choosing your vacation dates and a spending budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. 87 Ocean Creek - Canal w\/Shared Dock has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is usually available online. Otherwise, reach out to the property management company before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to determine which bed configuration is best for your trip.
- If your group is bringing pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly property. Request information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Usually, property owners charge additional pet fees.
- Visiting for a single event or attraction? If so, use a map search to find nearby properties.
- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. .
More considerations for your visit:
- Add the host's information to your phone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few concerns.
- Lock your rental property while you're gone! Don't let burglars ruin your holiday.
- To make certain that no damages are linked to your family's stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon your arrival. text the property manager right away to document any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a fantastic resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Leave feedback! Hosts rely on great feedback to stimulate more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
