Welcome to our unique vacation rental located in the heart of historic Beaufort, South Carolina. Formerly a frame-building workshop, this now two-bedroom, two-bathroom home has been lovingly refreshed to offer you the ideal blend of historic appeal and modern comfort.
As you step inside, you'll be greeted by the character and warmth of this special space. The open concept kitchen flows into the 2-story high living room with skylights, accepting natural light to flood into the space. Whether you are appreciating sitting at the bespoke bar or watching your favorite sports on the 75” TV, this is the ideal spot to relax and appreciate yourself.
The entirely-equipped kitchen is a delight for anyone looking to prepare in, featuring all new appliances, stone countertops, and all the amenities you need to whip up delicious meals. Appreciate your culinary creations in the open dining area with ample seating.
After a day of exploring downtown Beaufort, getaway to one of the two inviting bedrooms, each offering plush linens. The bedroom downstairs offers a queen bed as well as a daybed. The bedroom upstairs features a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. Sleeping arrangements are ideal for a group of five. Both bathrooms feature huge walk in showers and a washer and dryer is located in the downstairs bath.
Outside, a striking covered patio awaits, ideal for sipping your morning coffee or unwinding with a glass of wine in the evening breeze. Take a leisurely walk to downtown Beaufort, where you'll discover historic landmarks, boutique stores, art galleries, and a variety of dining options.

Feel the magic of Beaufort from our artfully refreshed vacation rental which sits just adjacent to Gallery 1897. The sister property was the original art gallery displaying a variety of pieces, most of which were framed in this beautiful space. The two properties share a courtyard space and back garden with firepit and gas grille. If availability permits, the two properties may be rented at the same time for bigger groups or families.
Located just a 7 min. walk to Bay Street, the main hub for eateries and shopping in Beaufort, SC. Beaufort is a historic city, founded in 1711 and is the second oldest city in South Carolina. Stroll through the cozy downtown and you will see oak trees hung in spanish moss, boats bobbing in the harbor, antebellum homes and local stores. Beaufort features around 25 percent of the marshlands on the entire coast of the United States making this modest town a heaven for nature lovers and birders. Take a drive out to Hunting Island State Park and savor a day on the beach or book a fishing charter and spend your day on the water.
The Workshop is at the heart of a laid back coastal town and is conveniently located to many of the wedding venues in town, just a short drive to Parris Island, and an simple day trip to Charleston or Savannah.
