Booking the best Beaufort, SC rental home experience:

Getting the best value:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. To find the largest rental home within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Beaufort, SC restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental home 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • Some hosts offer rate reductions for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Beaufort, SC visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitors guides have deals for nearby tours and attractions.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
