Savor multi-level decks- you will never miss a sunset- and cavernous main living and bedrooms. This property features the main bedroom primary suite with huge, gorgeously tiled primary en suite. Wake up to the egrets and other Fripp Island wildlife right outside your window. Upstairs you will find a roomy King room with alluring vistas overlooking Sunset Park and the marsh. Or wake up with the sunrise in the 3rd bedroom which has two full size beds, and vistas of multiple old mossy oaks, palms, and a deer family- some nights you will even hear our neighborhood owl. The upper deck is accessible from the king room with vistas to the marina and on a clear nighttime as far as the eye can see. From any of the decks you can watch and hear the cycle of the closing day- just as the sun disappears the egrets fly to their nightly nesting spot on the golf course, the Cicadas start their nightly song, and the sky- oh the sky- its never the same color any nighttime of the week- while the sunset is beautiful, the after effects are really remarkable. Even on the rainy nights we have you covered- each bedroom and living room features Roku 4K intelligent TVs.
This home features a well laid out eat in kitchen open to the living room- no one ever has to miss out on any family activities in this room. The kitchen island is big enough for family games/puzzles and baking/cooking all at the same time. A golf cart that seats four is available, we are pet friendly, and only a 2-min. golf cart ride to the beach. For those flying in, we do offer a enormous beach wagon that loads comfortably onto the back of the golf cart- and we share body boards, beach toys, a modest cooler, and two modest beach chairs- and for the kids or kids at heart we have basketball, football, volleyball, and bocce.
Our lower screened in deck features an outer grilling deck, a table that seats 8 for outdoor dining, and a calming space to savor the view.
We are only steps away from the marina- boat ramp, Marina Store, and Bonito Boat House Bar and Restaurant. We are a min. golf cart ride to Ocean Creek Golf Course and 2-3 mins. from the Cabana Club pool area. 3-4 mins. from the Beach Club, adult pool, and the Sand Bar. How to book the best Fripp Island rental experience:
Finding your perfect rental home:
- Summer is high season in Fripp Island. To book the most suitable rental home for your budget, we recommend booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Beaufort, SC attractions. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Some hosts offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
- Look for your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guides contain money saving offers on local tours and attractions.
Planning, selecting, and booking a perfect Beaufort, SC rental home:
- Choose vacation dates and maximum budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Lowcountry Living Near the Marina, Golf cart included, Pet Friendly has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally available online. If you don't see them listed, contact the host before booking the rental. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks.
- Are you looking for special amenities? Most rental search websites include amenity lists and search filters.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking
- Some rental properties allow pets, but some don't. Acceptable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask your host about allowable breeds and types before booking.
More considerations for your visit:
- Store the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- During arrival, make note of any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors bothering your peaceful home life. Practice the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would have never otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are gone, just like you would at home.
- Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Did you have a wonderful stay? Many rental websites make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was defective and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
