Set in the heart of handsome downtown Beaufort, The Emerald is housed in a thoughtfully restored building that was once home to BoomBears, a beloved toy store designed by acclaimed local architect James G. Thomas. After nearly a decade of vacancy, the property underwent a remarkable transformation in 2021, including elevating the entire structure and reimagining the space as Beaufort’s first entirely self-service boutique hotel.
