- June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. To get the best value, change your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.
- Owners sometimes offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group.
- Property managers typically offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
- Find a copy of your local Beaufort, SC visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guides have money saving offers on nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.

- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Leave a review! Hosts rely on great ratings to compel new bookings. They'll be thankful for your review.
