We now offer a new, and slightly bigger, rear porch with a state-of-the-art screening system providing a better unobstructed view, finished with new rugs, 3-panel slider, back door, and exterior hardie-plank as well as a new rear bedroom window, new subflooring, and fresh paint throughout! "Fripper Upper" is a COMPLETELY and TASTEFULLY RENOVATED (end of 2021) 1 king bed/1 full bath FIRST FLOORING CORNER villa with INCREDIBLE marsh, canal, and sunset vistas! Tips to get the perfect vacation home experience:
Get the most from your rental budget:
- The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Booking your vacation rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
- Summer is high season in the Beaufort, SC area. To get the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Beaufort, SC restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your family qualifies for a special rate.
- Property managers usually offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Find a copy of your local Beaufort, SC visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guide magazines contain deals for local shops and restaurants.
How to pick the best vacation home in Fripp Island:
- Choose vacation dates and budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. Fripper Upper: 1st Floor, Just for TWO, MARSH Views, FREE Coffee/Tea/Creamer, Club Cards Available! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally available on booking websites. If not, email the property management company before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or may be applied to your contract.
- If there's a particular Beaufort, SC beach you crave, keep an eye out for homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental.
Advice for a fantastic stay:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Save the directions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, television set or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent quite a few issues.
- Lock your rental while you are out. Protect your property!
- During check-in, record any damages to the property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and attractions you would've never otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Double-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed everything at departure. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager is not available, take video of the rental to record its condition.
- Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good reviews to compel more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
