How to find the best Beaufort, SC vacation home experience:

How to get the best value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. To find the largest vacation home within your budget, we suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, SC visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines contain coupons for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Choosing and booking the perfect Beaufort, SC vacation home:

  • Select your vacation week and spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. 221 Tennis Villa - New to VRBO! Resort Access Included! has 1 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Beaufort, SC rental home search.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally accessible online. If they are not listed, call the property owner before you book your rental. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches. You will need to determine what is best for your group.
  • Looking for special amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the owner about your furry family members before booking.

During your stay:

  • Put the owner's information in your smartphone.
  • Document any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately send them to the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are valuable if damages are assessed.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a great source for finding the best local scenic spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your rental home while you're out. Protect your property!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected everything. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and look for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on good reviews to inspire future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
