How to find the best Beaufort, SC vacation home experience:

When to reserve a Beaufort, SC rental home & When to go:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in coastal SC. Booking in the Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Beaufort, SC visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guides contain offers and deals for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Select a group lead, choose your trip dates, and choose a budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. 9 Periwinkle - A Nature Lovers Dream - Golf Cart Included - Cards N\/A has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is commonly accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property owner before you reserve your home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, search for a property that allows animals. Request details on breed, size, and type requirements. Some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Is your family looking for particular amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. .

Tips for a wonderful stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your phone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, television set or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents many concerns.
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Record any damages to the property during check in, and immediately send them to the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are valuable if a dispute is filed.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a fantastic resource to find the best local scenic spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on great ratings to stimulate new reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
