Tricks and tips to get the best Beaufort rental experience:

Finding your best deal:

  • To find the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your family qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers typically offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Many property management companies supply Beaufort, SC area visitors guide magazines that include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Planning, picking, and booking a perfect Beaufort, SC rental:

  • Select a group lead, choose your dates, and choose a spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the configuration your group requires. CYPRESS COVE: Perfect for Parris Island Graduation! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is commonly available online. If they are not listed, email or call the property manager before reserving the vacation property. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to work out what configuration is best for your vacation group.
  • If there's a specific Beaufort, SC destination you love, look for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you'll need to book a property that allows animals. Request information on breed, size, and type requirements. Some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.

Considerations for your stay:

  • We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make certain damages aren't linked to your family's stay, inspect for any problem areas during arrival. Call the rental manager right away to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, intercom or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of concerns.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a fantastic resource to find the best local beaches.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • At departure, take a final walk-through to confirm you have not forget anything. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property a final time and look for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on good ratings to stimulate more reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
