446 Tarpon is a dazzling ocean front home located on the south end of Fripp Island. This four bedroom, four bath home is ideal for visitors that are interested in taking advantage of Fripp's handsome beach. Centrally located, just a short golf cart ride away is Island Bites, the Beach Club, Sandbar, Olympic size pool, Ocean Marina, Bonito Boathouse and much more. The enormous back deck provides a private boardwalk that leads directly to the beach. It comfortably accommodates up to 12 people.

2 bedrooms located on the first floor, 1 king and 2 queen bedrooms. The second floor has 2 bedrooms with the same bed setup. All 4 bedrooms have their own private en suite full bathrooms. The queen bedrooms have a tub/shower combo, while the king bedrooms have a shower. New carpet refreshed in 2025! The kitchen and living room offer a wide-open floor plan with granite countertops and an island. 180-degree view of the ocean and beach from this area will take your breath away.

Features include a gas grille, gourmet kitchen. standalone ice maker and loft area to give you the amenities of home in a resort environment. 6 TVs with Amazon Firesticks and high-speed WIFI allow you to access your favorite streaming apps with ease. YouTube TV is also supplied to allow access to quality live tv comparable to cable. The huge deck wraps around the home and was stained in 2024 and furnished with new furnishings. With plenty of room to socialize, the deck leads down to a private boardwalk accepting you to effortlessly access the beach. The laundry room with washer and dryer is located on the first floor.

The View:
Each bedroom offers a deck with a great view of the ocean and beach. The back of the home has a expansive view of the ocean through the huge windows and sliding glass doors, really surrounding you with the ocean. One of the best vistas on the island!

Fripp is a designated wildlife sanctuary and is also host to a sizable number of whitetail deer. You will be sure to see them as you enter the island gates.
Fripp Island is a gated island, comprised of about six and a half square miles. The vistas from Fripp Island are unlike others in the Sea Islands, as Fripp is the most seaward of them all. With two championship golf courses, five swimming pools, 10 tennis courts and a three-and-a-half-mile beach, Fripp is an unspoiled treasure. The island has a full-service marina, with water sports units are available.

Your unit is supplied with a starter set of essentials like toilet paper and paper towels. Springtide Market & Deli (located at the front of the island near the guard gate) stocks all essentials needed for a longer stay as well as groceries, grab-and-go, liquor, beach accessories, and much more!

Getting the most from your rental budget:

Some things to know before you go:

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't leave anything behind. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and scan for damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on good reviews to stimulate more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation rental. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
