  • Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors disrupting your peaceful home. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your vacation home while you're away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all personal items. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a excellent stay? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
