LeeAnn and Amy (sisters) and their families have been visiting on Fripp Island for years. We understand what makes a luxurous Fripp rental home and we would like to share our home with you.
LeeAnn owns a trucking company and hauls sand and gravel to construction sites. Amy is a court stenographer doing depositions and working with attorneys.
We named our Fripp home Sand Dollar Court because LeeAnn makes a dollar from sand and Amy makes a dollar from court. Sand Dollar Court is located on Dolphin Road on Fripp Island.
Welcome to Sand Dollar Court.

Our top Rental property booking tips and tricks:
How to get the best value:
- Summer time is high season in Fripp Island. To find the most suitable rental home for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Beaufort, SC attractions. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Reserving your rental home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
- Some hosts and property managers offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
- Many property management companies supply Beaufort, SC area visitors guides that include special deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Selecting and booking your Beaufort, SC rental home:
- Select a group lead, choose your trip dates, and select a max budget.
- Decide how many beds and the configuration your family requires. Private lot on golf course includes Golf Cart ~ at Sand Dollar Court has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is commonly available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email the property manager before booking your rental. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches.
- Looking for unique amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
- Some properties allow pets, and some don't. Acceptable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask your host about allowable breeds and types before booking.
More tips for your stay:
- Add the host's contact info to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- Document any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately send them to the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are useful if a dispute arises.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, stereo or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent a lot of difficulties.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a great resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let thieves spoil your trip.
- Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
- Did you have a fantastic vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
