Strategies to get the best rental experience:
How to get the best rental home value:
- Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Summertime is the most expensive season in Fripp Island. To find the largest vacation home for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Booking websites usually offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, visitor guides contain offers and deals for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
Selecting the best rental home in Fripp Island:
- Start by choosing vacation dates and a spending budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. Our Fripp Getaway, 6-Seat Golf Cart Included, Pets Considered, Neighborhood Pool, 239 Deerfield Court has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly accessible online. If you don't see them listed, contact the property management company before booking your home. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or applied to your invoice.
- If there's a certain Beaufort, SC destination you crave, browse homes that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
Tips to have a fantastic stay:
- We recommend storing the owner's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are gone, just like you would back home.
- During arrival, note any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed everything at departure. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent reviews to stimulate future reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
