How to select the best vacation rental in Fripp Island:
- Start by selecting your the best vacation week and a maximum budget.
- Note the number beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Our Fripp Getaway, 6-Seat Golf Cart Included, Pets Considered, Neighborhood Pool, 239 Deerfield Court has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is commonly accessible on booking websites. If not, email the property owner before you book the home. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to determine which bed configuration is suitable for your family.
- Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional fees or costs might be applied to your agreement.
- Visiting for a single attraction or event? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking.
Tips to have a wonderful stay:
- Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Save the directions to your smartphone, and take a printed backup.
- Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Lock your rental property while you're out! Don't let crooks spoil your holiday.
- Document any damages to the property at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are very helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
- Respect the neighborhood. Often, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Just before checking out, take a walk-through to make sure you did not forget anything. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
- Did your group have a fantastic time? Most rental websites make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
