Tips to get the best Beaufort, SC rental experience:
Get the best rental value:
- The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
- To book the largest vacation home within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Beaufort, SC restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
- Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local Beaufort, SC visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitor guide magazines contain discounts for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.
