Tips to get the optimal rental home experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • Summer months are high season in Beaufort. Book your rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • The earlier your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Beaufort, SC visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitor guides contain deals for local tours and attractions.

How to choose and book the bestvacation home:

  • Start by having your family commit to dates and a spending budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Deepwater Charm in Beaufort SC with Private Dock has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is commonly available on booking pages. If they are not listed, email or call the property management company before reserving the home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to establish what is optimal for your trip.
  • If there's an individual Beaufort, SC attraction you are enamored with, search for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly vacation rental. Get details on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.

Tips to have a terrific stay:

  • We recommend storing the owner's information in your smartphone.
  • To make sure damages aren't linked to your family's stay, note any problem areas during arrival. Get in touch with the host immediately to record your findings. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a terrific source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a terrific time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
