Welcome Home! This roomy home is located on 5 gorgeous acres that include a sizable pond, where you can sit on the dock and feed the fish under one of the 10 oldest and most majestic live oaks in the Lowcountry. Swim laps in the 40-foot pool or just lounge poolside in the screened-in lanai with premium lounge chairs. Appreciate the beautiful view through broad picture windows overlooking the 200-acre woods in the back. Take a five-min. walk down to the Brickyard Point boat landing to launch a kayak, go fishing, or just watch the fantastic sunset. It feels as if you are in the mountains, but you are just a short drive away from downtown Beaufort, Parris Island, and the many beaches of the Lowcounty.

INTERIOR: There's something for everybody in the family in this cavernous Lowcountry home: Wall-mounted big-screen Intelligent TVs in the living room, rec room and master suite (with DIRECTV); elegant pool table and work station in rec room; master bedroom with king-size bed on main; jetted tub and separate step-in shower in master bath; Jack and Jill bedrooms upstairs with queen-size beds and their own full bathrooms; full kitchen with bar, stainless refrigerator/freezer, range with glass stovetop, enormous pantry, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffeemaker, Bosch dishwasher, and stainless dual sinks with disposal; formal dining table overlooking the pool, expansive back yard, private playground, and forest; giant lodge-style open living area with vistas in every direction and a 65-inch Intelligent TV; huge fourth bedroom with bunk beds and its own full bathroom with double vanity. There is a full laundry room with top end Whirlpool and steam technology.
IMPORTANT: The pool temperature is not guaranteed to be warm enough to swim in the spring and the fall because of the temperature variations in the Lowcountry.

Bring a boat to launch from the Brickyard Point Boat landing just a 1/4 mile down the road. There is a humongous amount of parking to park the boat/trailer, plus room to savor a game of basketball outside with an adjustable basketball goal.

Our top Beaufort, SC vacation rental booking tips and tricks:

When to visit Beaufort & When to reserve a rental home:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. Reserving a rental home in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties.
  • The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best properties are reserved early. Booking your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property management companies typically offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines have discounts for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Planning, picking, and booking the rightvacation home:

  • Choose your dates and budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. Luxury Estate Living on five acres with a pool minutes from Downtown Beaufort has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is usually accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the property owner before reserving the home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds. You will need to work out which bed configuration is best for your trip.
  • Are you looking for unique amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Note that some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.

Additional considerations:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home. Store the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To ensure that damages aren't linked to your family's visit, inspect for any problem areas during arrival. message the host immediately to relay your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers disrupting your peace and quiet. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would have not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out and about. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Just prior to departing, complete a walk-through to confirm you have not forget anything. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a wonderful vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
