Our top Beaufort, SC rental booking tips:

Find your perfect vacation home:

  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Beaufort, SC area. To find the best value, consider shifting your family's Beaufort, SC vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property managers typically offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Often, management companies supply Beaufort, SC area travel guides that include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself.
