Finding the best Fripp Island vacation rental experience:

When to visit Fripp Island & When to reserve a Fripp Island rental home:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of SC. To get the best value, try changing your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Beaufort, SC area visitors guides which often include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

How to select the best rental in the Beaufort, SC area:

  • Choose your vacation dates and max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Fabulous 4 Bedroom 3 bath home new to the rental market on Fripp Island,SC has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is commonly available on booking pages. If they are not listed, email or call the property management company before you reserve your home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? Use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or costs could be applied to your contract.

Have a great stay:

  • Add the host's contact information to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Make a record of any damages to the rental upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are useful if damages are assessed.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be a great resource to find the best local attractions.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would back home.
  • Upon check-out, complete a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget any personal items. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a excellent time? Most rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
