We do offer a military/military families discount - send us a message when inquiring about your dates!

We are dog friendly and there is a $125 dog fee, per dog (2 dogs max). This does not cover any damage or yard clean up and all dogs must be home trained. If you are bringing your pup along, we must know at the time of booking and prior to your arrival. We have a completely fenced yard, but the back fence is our neighbors not ours and there may be modest holes around the property, do not leave dogs unattended outside. Please note that cats are not allowed due to guest allergies.
Our home is located on a main road, while road noise is minimized at nighttime, there is a possibility of hearing cars during the day. Each bedroom has a sound machine.
Please remember this is our home so treat it like you would a friend's home and we will do our best to make you feel like you're a friend staying with us!
We have installed exterior only security cameras for the safety of both guest and property. These cameras are actively recording both audio and video outside all entrances and side doors. Vacation rental booking tips:
Money saving strategies:
- In the Beaufort, SC area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
- Summer months are high season in Beaufort. To find the best rental within budget, we suggest booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Property management companies often offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Beaufort, SC visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guide magazines contain discounts for local tours, shops, and attractions.
Make a plan and choose your prefectrental home:
- Select your vacation week and spending budget.
- Determine how many beds and the configuration your family requires. Beaufort Cottage Near MCRD with Beach Pass! has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is usually accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, contact the property owner before reserving the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you must reserve a rental that allows animals. Ask for details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Note that some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
- If there's an individual Beaufort, SC attraction you love, look for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental
Considerations for your stay:
- Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Save the instructions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, intercom or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents many concerns.
- Lock your vacation home while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
- To make sure that damages are not linked to your family's stay, inspect for any problem areas during check in. Speak to the host immediately to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be useful.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a terrific source for finding the best local beaches and hangouts.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Leave feedback! Hosts rely on great reviews to compel more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
