Our home is located across the street from a incredible park and playground and is about a mile walk from downtown Beaufort’s Waterfront Park. Port Royal is the closest beach, but our favorite is Hunting Island Beach which is about 20-30 mins. away depending on traffic. We are 45 mins. from Hilton Head and 1.5 hours from Charleston.
Taxi service and Ubers are available, but having a personal car is recommended if you wish to see all the attractions that the area has to offer!
We do offer a military/military families discount - send us a message when inquiring about your dates!
Dog Policy
We are dog friendly and there is a $125 dog fee, per dog (2 dogs max). This does not cover any damage or yard clean up and all dogs must be home trained. If you are bringing your pup along, we must know at the time of booking and prior to your arrival. We have a completely fenced yard, but the back fence is our neighbors not ours and there may be modest holes around the property, do not leave dogs unattended outside. Please note that cats are not allowed due to guest allergies.
Our home is located on a main road, while road noise is minimized at nighttime, there is a possibility of hearing cars during the day. Each bedroom has a sound machine.
Please remember this is our home so treat it like you would a friend's home and we will do our best to make you feel like you're a friend staying with us!
We have installed exterior only security cameras for the safety of both guest and property. These cameras are actively recording both audio and video outside all entrances and side doors. Any tampering with cameras, including, but not limited to covering and otherwise disabling of these cameras are grounds for early termination of reservation with no refunds whatsoever.
Please note that any refunds made in accordance with our cancellation policy will be less any credit card costs.

Rental home tips:
When to reserve a Beaufort, SC rental & When to go:
- Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Booking in Fall or Spring is a great way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- Some hosts offer rate reductions for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group.
- Property managers often offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local Beaufort, SC area magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guide magazines contain money saving offers on local restaurants, attractions, and tours.
Selecting and booking yourrental:
- Start by choosing trip dates and a max budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Beaufort Cottage Near MCRD with Beach Pass! has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the property manager before you reserve your home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds.
- Some properties allow pets, and others don't. Allowable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask your host about pet restrictions before booking.
- Looking for particular amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental.
Some things to know before you go:
- Be sure you get the property manager's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, stereo or coffee maker. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents many problems.
- Lock your rental while you're away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- Upon arrival, document any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers bothering your life at home. Practice the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known about!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did you have a fantastic stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
