Totally refreshed home constructed in 1910 with historic appeal and a modern touch. Located in the historic district of Beaufort just ~8 blocks from downtown and a fast 12min drive to Parris Island, this is the ideal home for graduation, vacation or work. Many of the pieces, artwork and photos are from the owner's travels around the world. The yard is fenced in to offer privacy, the neighbor is an officer, complimentary Hunting Island pass, beach gear and the internet is super fast. ALL are welcome! :)
Depending on the channel you book through, there may be a $500 pre-authorization hold on the card acting as a security deposit.
We are local and can help with any questions.
Beaufort is located on Port Royal Island, in the heart of the Sea Islands and South Carolina Lowcountry. The city is acclaimed for its breathtaking location and for maintaining a historic character by preservation of its antebellum architecture. My home is located in the Downtown area which is a great mix of people, cultures and homes.
There are a few ride-shares around but I wouldn’t entirely depend on it. I recommend having a car and/or bicycle if you are only staying in the downtown area. Check out University Bikes or Lowcountry Bicycles for units.
We have multiple short-term units in the area. Our goal is to make your experience a 5+ star. We are local and can help or make recommendations whenever needed. We have a keypad for painless access and check-in. A fenced-in backyard along with a screened-in porch offers privacy. There is a police officer living next door so you should feel additional secure. We have one Hunting Island pass that is good for one car. We do have a Ring doorbell with a camera on the front porch and a floodlight + camera overlooking the backyard only for security. We have YouTube TV. Lastly, we conveniently have beach gear for any beach adventure.
We have a Parris Island graduation handbook we put together to help you navigate graduation.

Tricks and tips to get the very best Beaufort, SC vacation rental experience:
When to go & When to book:
- Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer is the most expensive season in coastal SC. Booking your vacation rental in Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties.
- Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
- Booking websites usually offer guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, SC area visitor guides which often include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. Narrow your rental Search:
- To start, have your group choose trip dates and a budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. The Wilmington Place has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is normally available on booking pages. Otherwise, call the host before reserving the vacation property. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches.
- Some rentals allow pets, but some don't. Allowable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable breeds and types before booking.
- Visiting for a single event? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
Know before you go:
- Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, television set or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent lots of problems.
- Lock your rental while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- Make a record of any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are valuable if damages are assessed.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome vacationers disrupting your peaceful home life. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have never otherwise known about!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Walk through the property a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on good feedback to stimulate future reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review find their best vacation home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
