Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget any personal items. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a great stay? Many rental home management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide comments.
