How to get the best vacation rental experience:

Getting the most from your rental budget:

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer time is high season in the Beaufort, SC area. To get the largest rental home within budget, we suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers frequently offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Beaufort, SC area visitors guides that include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Planning and choosing the bestrental:

  • Start by selecting trip dates and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your group requires. New Listing - Marshview, Pet Friendly, Golf Cart Included - 803 Sea Bass has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Beaufort, SC rentals search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is normally available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, contact the property manager before reserving the home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to determine what is right for your vacation.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to find a property that allows animals. Request specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Usually, property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking

More considerations:

  • Put the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Lock your rental home while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • To ensure that no damages are linked to your stay, note any problem areas upon check in. message the rental manager immediately to report any issues. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to stimulate more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your experience find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
