Rental home booking tips:
How to get the best rental home value:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. To get the best value, consider shifting your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warm temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, SC area travel guides that include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Choosing the best rental:
- Select a designated group leader, choose your vacation dates, and choose a budget.
- Decide how many beds and the configuration your group requires. Low Country Resort Style Home Escape Habersham SC has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible on booking pages. If not, reach out to the property owner before booking the home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to work out what bed configuration is optimal for your trip.
- If there's a particular Beaufort, SC destination you are enamored with, keep an eye out for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking.
- If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
Considerations for your stay:
- Take a copy of the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property.
- To make sure damages are not linked to your stay, note any problem areas during arrival. text the rental manager immediately to document any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents many concerns.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible resource to find the best local attractions.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Lock your vacation home while you are out. Protect your property!
- Re-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did you have a terrific stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
