How to find the best Fripp Island rental home experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in Fripp Island. Booking your vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, SC area visitor guide magazines which often include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Planning and choosing your prefectrental:

  • Start by having your group decide on a vacation week and a budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Great views, close to cabana club, golf cart included - 23 Veranda Beach has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, email or call the property management company before you reserve the home. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what bed configuration is right for your vacation.
  • Does your family require unique amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find your ideal rental.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you will need a rental that allows animals. Request details on breed, size, and type requirements. Some property managers charge additional pet fees.

Advice for a wonderful stay:

  • Add the property manager's contact info to your phone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • To make certain that damages aren't linked to your family's visit, make a record of any problem areas during arrival. message the property manager immediately to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, stereo or coffee maker. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents many concerns.
  • Be a good neighbor. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Keep the property locked while you're away! Don't let crooks ruin your family vacation.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on great feedback to compel future bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your review find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
