- Book your Beaufort, SC rental property in Fall or Spring to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
- The earlier you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your family qualifies for a special rate.
- Property management companies typically offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
- Many property management companies supply Beaufort, SC area visitor guide magazines which include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Filter your search:
- Select your dates and max budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Relax in a Pet-Friendly Lowcountry Home Near Beaches, Downtown Beaufort, and USMC Graduation! has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Beaufort, SC rentals search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly available on booking websites. If they are not listed, email the property management company before you book the rental. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to determine what is right for your trip.
- Are you visiting for a single attraction? Try a map search to locate nearby properties.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
- Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or costs might be applied to your agreement.
Additional considerations:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Add a note with the directions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
- Make a record of any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately contact the host. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be beneficial if damages are attributed to your stay.
- Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers disrupting your life at home. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would have not otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Lock your rental home while you're away. Keep your property safe!
- At departure, complete a final walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to drive more reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
