"SUMMER OF 68" has been described as a classic Fripp Island Beach home. It has been hosting families for many years. The home is ideal for togetherness. The enormous open floor plan with everything space completes the family environment. The front and back decks wrap the whole length of the home, so you can step out and savor the striking Lowcountry weather from anywhere in the home. This 6 bedroom, 8 bed, and 3 full bath home will comfortably sleep up to 16 people. This home features a huge well-maintained lawn for family fun!

It is located across the road from the beach on much-desired beach Access #2. Only a few homes on Marlin Drive are this convenient to beach Access #2.

A short walk down the boardwalk will take you to heaven. Our North End of Fripp is very special with its undulating dunes, sea oats, a sizable variety of sea birds, and even ghost crabs at nighttime. There is generous beach, even at high tide, while low tide gives you the ability to discover the sand bars. When island photographers want to photograph Fripp's beach, they come to Access #2.

"SUMMER OF 68" is a well-lived-in Fripp Beach home. The huge open floor plan is a great family environment. The front and back decks wrap the whole length of the home, so you can step out and appreciate the handsome Lowcountry weather from anywhere in the home. This 6 bedroom, 8 bed, and 3 full bath home will comfortably sleep up to 16 people. Sizable well-maintained lawn for family fun! Features include 2 charcoal grilles, a beach cart, a TV in the living room with Comcast Cable, high-speed WIFI, a entirely equipped kitchen, and in-law suite on the first floor.

Entry Steps:
1. 2 beds and 1 bath are located on the 1st floor. Use your supplied code to gain access to the 1st floor.
2. Right inside the 1st-floor entry will be a key. Use this key to gain access to the 2nd floor.
3. The key will open the sliding glass door up the back porch into the dining room on the 2nd floor, where the rest of the 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, as well as the kitchen and living space, are located!

The View:
788 Marlin Drive has sliding glass doors around the whole property, designed to view the ocean from every room on the front. The back of the home has long-range vistas of the #8 hole of Ocean Point Golf Course and the two lagoons that flank the tee box.

A 4-seat golf cart is supplied with your rental (excluding monthly units). The best way to really enjoy Fripp's beauty is by golf cart.

Guest Cards Included:
Also supplied in your rental are up to 16 guest cards, a value of up to $800! These cards are required for access to all resort amenities including eateries and bars, pools (opened year-round), golf, pickleball, tennis, exercise center, and more. For current hours of operation please visit our Hours of Operation page on the Resort site as some hours adjust seasonally. Guest cards offer exclusive access to discounted prices on golf and tennis.

Your unit is outfitted with a starter set of essentials like toilet paper and paper towels. Springtide Market & Deli (located at the front of the island near the guard gate) stocks all essentials needed for a longer stay as well as groceries, grab-and-go, liquor, beach accessories, and much more!

Getting to know Fripp Island:
Located 20 miles from Beaufort, South Carolina, Fripp Island is a gated, private island, comprised of about six and a half square miles. The vistas from Fripp Island are unlike others in the Sea Islands, as Fripp is the most seaward of them all.

Take advantage of the many amenities that Fripp Island has to offer. Fripp Island features a multitude of food and drink options for your enjoyment. With two championship golf courses, five pool complexes, 6 pickleball courts, 8 tennis courts, and three-and-a-half miles of uninterrupted beach, Fripp Island is an unspoiled treasure. The island also has a full-service deep-water marina, bicycle, paddle board, kayak, boat, and golf cart units available.

Fripp Island is a designated wildlife sanctuary and is also host to many whitetail deer and other spectacular wildlife. You will be sure to see them as you enter the island gates.
