How to find the best Fripp Island vacation rental experience:

Sticking to a rental budget:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in Fripp Island. Reserve your Beaufort, SC vacation in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Reserving your rental home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies usually offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Beaufort, SC area travel guides that include special deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or might be applied to your invoice.

Have a great stay:

  • We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make sure that damages are not linked to your visit, make note of any problem areas during check in. Make contact with the host right away to record any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent lots of difficulties.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be an incredible source for finding the best local scenic spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let crooks spoil your family vacation.
  • When it's time to leave, take a final walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Property owners rely on great ratings to compel new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
