Strategies to get the best Fripp Island vacation rental experience:

Getting the most from your spending budget:

  • In the Beaufort, SC area, The sooner you can book, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your rental property six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Summer time is high season in the Beaufort, SC area. Book your Beaufort, SC vacation in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies typically offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Many property management companies supply Beaufort, SC area travel guides which include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Use filters to narrow your search:

  • Select your vacation dates and budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. 343 Captain John Fripp Villa - New to VRBO! Resort Access Included! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Beaufort, SC rentals search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly available on booking websites. Otherwise, call the property manager before you reserve your rental. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to work out what configuration is suitable for your vacation family.
  • Some properties allow pets, but others don't. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the property management company about pets before booking.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Additional considerations:

  • Put the owner's information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, television set or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent a lot of concerns.
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home when you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • At Check-in, note any damages to the property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at departure. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a excellent vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
