The home is very sunny, bright, breezy and well appointed with a Coastal Lowcountry historic & beach theme, a little jewel. 2 Bedrooms, 2 full Baths plus a Queen Lazy-boy sleeper. Upgrades include new tile or refinished hard wood floors throughout. Upscale furnishings, window treatments, kitchen appliances, new Sealy Posturepedic linens, new vented gas fireplace, both exterior decks have been rebuilt and new painting throughout. THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL RENTAL, there are very few like it. Very clean, with tons of special touches.
Pass your time sitting on the river deck reading a book from our library with your favorite drink or just watch the dolphins and boats pass by on the waterway or the the ospreys and pelicans diving for fish to feed their young. Beaufort & Port Royal, towns both rich with history! Discovered by the Spanish in 1514 and chartered by the British in1711. Having flown under Seven Flags and known as the "Queen of the Carolina Sea Islands". In 1562 Captain Jean Ribaut, a French Huguenot sailing for Spain established the first settlement with 150 brave settlers on what's now Parris Island which he named Charlesfort. He said upon his planned return to Spain, "NO FAIRER OR FITTER PLACE TO BE". This still holds true today!
