Ideal Beach Vacation
This was our first visit to Fripp Island. It is a handsome place to vacation and we will be back. Everyone in our group had a great time. This property is in an extraordinary location ! Just steps from a beach access and very close to the nearest pool and beach club area. The beach view from the home is great and the upper deck became one of our favorite places to hang out. The host, Michelle, was great and all went smoothly. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Appreciate this property, can't wait for the upcoming remodel
We've been coming to Fripp for years but had never stayed oceanfront, wow, what a difference the location makes. This home is close to EVERYTHING! and is huge enough for everybody to have their own space.

Special times at a special place. We traveled from three states to have a family trip to memorialize our late father and Michelle could not have been more accommodating in making sure all of our needs were met from a list of things for us to do with the kids to guest cards to gate passes, she was available at every turn. We'll forever be grateful for the kindness she extended to our entire family. God Bless.

OCEAN POINT GOLF LINKS: Designed by George W. Cobb, Ocean Point is Fripp Island’s oceanfront prize. Getting the best Fripp Island vacation home experience:

When to go & When to book:

  • The earlier you can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • To get the most suitable rental home for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, SC visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guides have coupons for local tours, shops, and attractions.

Filter your rental search:

  • Select a group lead, select your vacation dates, and choose a max budget.
  • Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. NEWLY RENOVATED OCEANFRONT CENTER ISLAND has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, reach out to the property owner before you reserve your home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, but others do not. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the owner about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
  • Are you looking for particular amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find your ideal rental home.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Save the instructions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, stereo or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent many issues.
  • Lock your rental property while you are away! Don't let crooks spoil your family vacation.
  • To make sure that damages are not linked to your family's visit, inspect for any problem areas upon check in. Contact the host right away to record any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Double-check the property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a excellent time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
