Our top Beaufort vacation rental booking tips and tricks:
Finding the best rental home value:
- The earlier your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Booking your rental home up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
- Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. To find the best rental home within your budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Beaufort, SC restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
- Some owners offer rate reductions for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.
- Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
- Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guide magazines contain offers and deals for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.
Narrow your rental Search:
- Choose your dates and max budget.
- Decide how many beds and the bed configuration you need. The Tuscan Suite , at Magnolia Court has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is almost always available online. If not, email the property manager before booking the property. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks.
- Some rental properties allow pets, and others do not. Acceptable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the host about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
- Are you visiting for a single attraction? If so, use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
During your stay:
- Take a copy of the host's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your .
- Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
- Lock your rental home while you're away. Protect your property!
- Document any damages to the rental upon arrival, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are beneficial if a dispute arises.
- Be respectful. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental to make sure you've collected everything. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the property a final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent ratings to propel future bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
