About
The Salt Marsh Ecology Tour is an educational trip through the salt marsh at low tide in the downtown Beaufort area. We'll paddle out and stop on a sandbar. There we will throw a cast net, to show a sample of the marine organisms that live in our waters and maybe take a quick swim if the weather permits.
Please Note: Children under 12 must be in a tandem kayak. Please ensure you choose a tandem kayak during the checkout process if you are booking any children under the age of 12!
What to Bring
We provide guide service, a kayak, PFD, anda paddle for each person in your group. Please dress for the weather and wear shoes you don't mind getting wet. Please bring 1 liter of drinking water per person. We also suggest you bring a pair of bike or golf gloves - they aren't required but many find they are happy they brought them!
Our boat launch site does not have a restroom, so please plan accordingly.
