duration: 2.5
description: #Art is Medicine for the Soul

Remember our joy filled young selves playing with crayons and finger paint?

Art can light us up, fill us with joy when we remember that it is all about PLAY.

Research shows that just 45 minutes of creative activity reduces stress and cortisol levels. It keeps us focused on the present.

The study of Neuroesthetics shows that art making or even art appreciation engages our brain in novel ways and reduces mental stress.

So join us for this joy filled class that keeps us laughing and uplifted even if just for a few hours. We will create together AND learn some fun doodling techniques to use as a mindfulness and meditative practice at home.
