How to book the best vacation rental experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of SC. Reserving a rental home in Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property management companies offer promotional rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, SC area visitor guide magazines which often include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself.
