Sharks help maintain the delicately balanced ecosystems that keep our oceans healthy. However, the challenges facing this critical apex predator are many, and seemingly overwhelming. More than 100 million are slaughtered every year for their fins. Come learn about shark from a scientific perspective and get a better understanding of these creatures with a biologist lead shark dissection.
