Strategies for getting the best Beaufort, SC vacation rental experience:

When to visit & When to reserve a Beaufort, SC rental home:

  • Summer months are high season in the Beaufort, SC area. Booking in the Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • In the Beaufort, SC area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Booking your rental home six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, SC area visitor guides which will include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Use filters to narrow your rental search:

  • Begin by selecting your a vacation week and a max budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the configuration your family needs. Fripper Upper: 1st Floor, Just for TWO, All MARSH Views, FREE Coffee\/Tea\/Creamer, Club Cards Available! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is often accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email the property manager before booking the vacation property. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds.
  • Is your group looking for specific amenities? Most websites include search filters with amenity lists. Use these to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly rental. Ask for details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some property managers charge additional pet fees.

Advice for a wonderful stay:

  • Store the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • At Check-in, note any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the host. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, television set or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few difficulties.
  • Be respectful. Frequently, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your rental home while you are out. Keep your property safe!
  • At departure, take a final walk-through to confirm you did not leave anything behind. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a fantastic stay? Many rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
