> My family just got back from spending an striking week at Higher Porpoise. Ruth Ann and Tony went above and beyond to make it such a agreeable and peaceful experience, from the present basket with the yummy Montana tea, wine and personalized “Higher Porpoise” coffee mugs to including all the accommodations we could possibly need in a holiday rental!
> The vistas from the front porch of this home are beautiful, and they can be seen throughout the living area and main floor bedrooms! The kitchen is well-supplied with everything you could possibly need to prepare all of your meals there. It includes bountiful pots and pans, dishes, knives, silverware, mixing bowls, etc. We cooked 90% of our meals in the home and NEVER missed anything from home!
> The home is delightfully decorated, yet comfortable and appealing. It has been refreshed since some of the photos were posted. There is a bunk bed plus a queen in one of the main floor bedrooms and a brand new pool table downstairs, which was a hit with the teenagers.
> There was plenty of room for everybody including 3 adults, 2 older teens and a 13 year old. The downstairs area was ideal for the teens to have a space of their own. The two golf carts that were included in the rental were a favorite of the older teens and the bicycles were a favorite of the moms and my 13 year old daughter!
> The wildlife is generous on the island and in the front and backyard! We were greeted by a family of dolphin in the water out front upon arrival and a family of deer in the backyard! There is a bald eagle that frequents a tree in the back and can be seen daily on a sandbar out on the water! And make sure you see a sunrise while you are there. You will not be disappointed. We can’t wait to go back to Fripp and stay at Higher Porpoise! Thank you, Ruth Ann and Tony!



Four Bedroom House sits elevated above the Atlantic Sea.

Fishing boats and Dolphins pass by so close you can see the Dolphins feed and blow through their blowholes often with babies following.

As the tide changes throughout the day so do the vistas. Something is always putting on a show, whether it's the Sunrise, Eagles and Ospreys catching Fish in their talons, Deer walking or running by, Fishermen catching Crabs or Fish, or the Dolphins!!!

It's really extraordinary to watch from the 4 Rocking Chairs on the enormous front porch and balconies ( 4 more Rocking Chairs) while you sip your favorite drink, relax, read, or savor your family and friends.

This home is on the 18th fairway of Sea Point Golf Course. You can watch golfers tee off from the 18th, or you can yourself.

The Beach is close by and there is a Private Outside Shower attached to the back of the home to wash the sand off when you return.

Swimming Pools? The Fripp Island Club alone includes Nine shining pools.
The Cabana Club offers Multiple choices-a Magical lagoon-style pool with Waterfalls, Cascading Flowers, Islands and Caves, an Oval Pool and a Childrens' Pool with an Giant Frog Slide.
Club Cards are available through the owners. From Memorial Day to Labor Day they are $50.00 each for a full seven days. Childrens under 13 years of age do not need cards for access, but must be accompanied by an adult. Off-season they are only $35.00 for a full seven days. They are worth the money as they accept you to access Golf, Pools, Eateries, Marina, Units, and so much more.

We used to own a appealing restaurant so the new kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to create magnificent Meals. Fresh Shrimp, Oysters, Crabs, Grouper, and other Seafood is available for buy close by. Cook in the kitchen or on the new top of the line Weber gas grille. We can hook you up with new Crabs at a reasonable price. It pays to have connections!!!

There is a Wine Fridge, superb new dishwasher, plenty of counter space, and many odds and ends you won't find in other homes. Fun dishes and a great blender for those "Jimmy Buffet" drinks!

The Furnishings is handsome. Having stayed in Vacation Rental By Owner homes before we have had experience as to what is alluring, and we have seen the other side as well. There are cute wood floors in the living room! We have appointed this home to please others. Our private housekeeper prides herself in being the most impressive and maintains the home remarkably well. She believes "good enough seldom is"!

There are 3 brand new Intelligent TV's in the home with probably the Fastest Internet you've ever seen. If there's a rainy day you might want to access Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, or any streaming you have an account for.

Downstairs ( just freshly colored) there is a Full Bath, Combination Bedroom, Game-room, and Entertainment Room with tons of Games, Puzzles, a Ping Pong Table, Wii, and 2 Couches for enjoyment.

There are 4 New Bicycles ( Feb. 2020), 2 Men's and 2 Ladies in the Bicycle Room off the Garage.

Two Yamaha Golf Carts ( 2018) ARE PROVIDED in your stay ( this saves you big bucks)! We bought these because Yamaha is the choice and most reliable.

Two 18-hole golf courses (named as a "100 Finest Golf Resorts in North America" by Links Magazine).
